VIP 2000 Bench Model
The Tissue-Tek VIP 2000 Vacuum Infiltration Processor processes all specimens in an enclosed chamber called the retort. The retort capacity for the 2000 is 200 cassettes. This unit also contains three paraffin containers. Processing Reagents from the reagent reservoir module and molten paraffin from the paraffin oven are moved in and out of the oven by means of pressure and vacuum. This System is conjunction with the fume control filtering and ventilation system, provides an essentially fume-free environment while minimizing the exposure of the specimens to air. Unit is in excellent condition and includes all reagent bottles, carbon filter, cassette baskets and operators' manual.
Retort Temperature Ranges: Station 1-10: 35° C to 50° C
Station 11-14: 45° C to 70° C
Oven Temperature:Oven Remains 2° C above set temperature of stations 11-14.
