VIP 2000 Floor Model
All models are essentially the same, except for capacity.
The Tissue-Tek VIP Vacuum Infiltration Processor models, 1000, 2000 and 3000 processes all specimens in a enclosed chamber called the retort. The retort capacity for the 1000 is 100 cassettes for the 2000 is 200 cassettes and for the 3000 is 300 cassettes.
This unit also contains three paraffin containers. Processing reagents from the reagent reservoir module and molten paraffin from the paraffin oven are moved in and out of the oven by means of pressure and vacuum. This system, in conjunction with the fume control filtering and ventilation system, provides an essentially fume-free environment while minimizing the exposure of the
specimens to air.
Retort Temperature Ranges: Station 1-10: 35° C to 50° C
Station 11-14: 45° C to 70° C
Oven Temperature:Oven Remains 2° C above set temperature of stations 11-14.
