Paraffin


Paraplast Plus is recommended for large tissues or tissue that presents infiltration problems.  Contains small amout of dimethyl sulfoxide for faster tissue pentration.  Melts at 56-67 Degree C

Paraplast X-tra consists of a blend of low molecular weight polymers and highly purified paraffins for compression resistance and ribon continuity.  Low viscosity permits complete infiltration of dense tissues.  Melts at 50 to 54 Degree C

Paraplast Regular provides better tissue infiltration and superior quality sections.  Minimizes tissue compression due to sectioning.  Brittle, hard to cut tissue such as fibroid tumors, blood-engorged tissue, decalcified bone are given elasticity that products wrinkle-free sections.

TBS Paraplast

Poly/Fin is a highly refined paraffin and co-polymers in convenient was pellet. Formulation provides optimal tissue support while maintaining clarity.  Low 55 Degree C melting point elimnated any tissue distortion caused by excessive heat during processing.
