This stain is used to demonstrate acid fast bacteria.

PSL-0022    Alcian Blue Stain Kit (ph 1.0)

Alcian Blue is used to stain carbohydrates with acidic groups.
Alcian Blue 8GX at ph 1.0 is specific for sulfated mucoccharides.
